Each Herpizox® 400 tablet contains Aciclovir IP 400 mg.Each Herpizox® 800 tablet contains Aciclovir IP 800 mg.Herpizox® is indicated in the treatment of Herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and mucous membrane, including initial and recurrent genital herpes, suppression of recurrentHerpes simplex infections in immunocompetent patients; prophylaxis of Herpes simplexinfection in immunocompromised patients; varicella infections (chicken pox) and Herpes zoster(shingles) infections; and management of severely immunocompromised, namely those with HIV disease (CD4+ counts <200/mm 3 , including patients with AIDS or severe ARC) or after bone marrow transplantation.
